Thailand U-21 aim winning the title at International Football Tournament in Vietnam

Thailand U-21 coach Julian Marin Bazalo has targeted winning the title at the International U-21 Football Tournament, which will take place in Can Tho, Vietnam from December 12-22.

The team had conducted a one-week training session at Bangkok Thonburi University Sports Development Center before departing to Vietnam on Sunday afternoon.

“I am delighted to coach this team. It is a great experience to be a part of a Thailand national team. The atmosphere in the team is very good. My goal is to get used to the field in Vietnam. And after that, we will win the title,” Bazalo told Siamsport before taking off to Vietnam from Don Mueang International Airport.

This year, the annual tournament will feature five teams, including defending champions Yokohama FC U-21, Thailand U-21, Myanmar U-21, Vietnam U-21 and U-19 teams.

All the teams will compete in a round robin format, with the two best teams entering the final.

Thailand will kick off their campaign by the opening match against hosts Vietnam U-21 on Tuesday.
