Barcelona veteran Javier Mascherano has been tipped to leave Barcelona in January, and his next destination could be Hebei Fortune, as reported by Spanish media outlet Sport.
Sport claimed that the coaching staffs of Barcelona did not want Mascherano to leave, but the Argentine could join Hebei with the double salary.
Having fallen out of favor under head coach Ernesto Valverde, Mascherano is believed to tell Barca in November of his intention to leave.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a January move to China, where Hebei have reportedly expressed their interest in the Argentina international.
Mascherano joined Barcelona from Liverpool in August 2010 and has appeared over 330 times during his seven-year spell with them.
