Marclei Santos has completed his move from Indonesia club Mitra Kukar to Thai League 1 outfit Chonburi FC.
The arrival of Marclei to Chonburi FC was announced by a photo on the club’s official Facebook site on Monday.
With 22 goals, the Brazilan forward was the second highest scorer in the Indonesia Liga 1 this season, finishing only behind Sylvano Comvalius, who has signed a two-year contract with Suphanburi.
Since their last Thai League 1 title in 2007, Chonburi had finished as runners-up on five occasions but stood outside the top three over the past three years.
The Sharks wrapped up their 2017 season by the seventh position at Thai League 1 standings with 34 points.
