Philippines international Iain Ramsay has rejected the contract offer from Prachuap Khiri Khan Football Club, according to reports from Thailand media.
Ramsay was drawn attention from newly promoted Prachuap FC for their first season in the Thai League 1. However, the detail of this fallout has not been announced by both sides.
Signed into Ceres early in 2017, Ramsay has played an important part in the club’s historic journey of being crowned the 2017 AFC Cup ASEAN Zonal Champions.
In 2016, the Thai League opened its doors to ASEAN players with a new rule that requires each club to take one extra ASEAN player. The new regulation is to be implemented in the 2018 season.
The left midfielder was eligible to play for the Philippine Azkals in 2015 due to his mother’s nationality.
