Former Cambodia national team head coach Leonardo Vitorino criticised the reaction of an unnamed coach and an unnamed “fan” following the team’s 2-1 defeat to Jordan in the 2019 Asian Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
“Now these two people [are] celebrating!! The Parrot (one manager that talking too much all the time [when] Cambodia national team lose). It’s crazy but they celebrate losing by just a small numbers of goals!!!,” Vitorino wrote on his Facebook, as reported by the Khmer Times.
There has been a speculation that the Brazilian wants to attack Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng coach Vandeth Sam and swimmer Hem Thon Vitiny, who is the partner of national team player Samoeun Pidor.
Pidor was suspended by Vitorino in August for disciplinary reasons during the Kuala Lumpur’s SEA Games group stage.
Vitorino was axed by Football Federation of Cambodia in October, following the disastrous winless runs of both national and U-23 teams.
