Ceres midfielder Iain Ramsay is set to join newly promoted Prachuap Khiri Khan Football Club for their first season in the Thai League T1, as reported by Rappler.
Signed into Ceres early in 2017, Ramsay has played an important part in the club’s historic journey of being crowned the 2017 AFC Cup ASEAN Zonal Champions.
The Australian-born will reportedly complete the 2017 season with Ceres before moving to Prachuap in December ahead of preseason training.
By signing Ramsay, Prachuap is an indication that the club intend to take advantage of the Thai League’s new rule, which opened its doors to more ASEAN players.
The regulation requires each club to take one extra ASEAN player and is to be implemented in the 2018 season.
