Paolo Sousa has reached a financial agreement with Tianjin Quanjian, as reported by Sky Sports Italy.
Sousa’s associate is in China to finalize the last terms of the deal, which means the ex-Fiorentina coach is set to join another former Serie A coaches in China, including Fabio Capello, Fabio Cannavaro, and Marcello Lippi.
Sousa stepped down as the coach of Fiorentina following the appointment of Stefano Pioli in June.
Last month. Tianjin Quanjian denied the speculation that they are interested in appointing Carlo Ancelotti as their head coach to replace Cannavaro.
