Muangthong United coach Totchtawan Sripan has switched his focus to FA Cup and League Cup.
As Muangthong’s chance to catch up with table-toppers Buriam in Thai League 1 is getting slimmer, coach Totchtawan insisted that his side would try to win double cup competitions this season.
“We are unlikely to retain the Thai League 1 trophy so we have shifted our focus to the two cup competitions. We will try to win both trophies,” Totchtawan said, as quoted by the Bangkok Post.
“The game at Chiang Rai United is an important one for us. It will not be easy to play at Chiang Rai because they are a strong team and have many good players.”
