Indonesian Liga 1 outfit Bali United are in talks over the signing of former England international Frank Lampard.
Sources in Indonesia say the 39-year-old midfielder coud be a surprise marquee signing for the Laskar Semeton Dewata squad in the next season.
It was also reported that Bali United owner Pieter Tanuri held talks with the former Chelsea and Manchester City star when he attended the 2017 AP Sport Summit in Manchester on last Thusday.
“Lampard told me that football needs technology now. He also told me about his story when played for Chelsea and Manchester City,” said Pieter as it was quoted by Tribun Bali.
Lampard announced his retirement from playing in February after a career which brought three English Premier League titles, four FA Cups and a Champions League with Chelsea.
