Bhayangkara FC midfielder Evan Dimas advised the Indonesia U-19 player Egy Maulana Vikri to develop his career abroad.
“Egy has talent, I hope he can play abroad to develop his talent,” Evan told in a press conference, as quoted by Bola.
On the other hand, the Bhayangkara player also had some word to Indonesia U-19 team, who claimed the third place at AFF U-18 Championship in Myanmar earlier this month.
“I see their performance is pretty good and the players really have talent. I hope there will be someone who can play abroad. Egy, if there is an offer to play in a foreign club, you should take it,” said Evan.
Evan had a 4-month training program with Espanyol B in February 2016. He was the first youngster to be invited to the training program, following La Liga’s global scheme to give opportunities to young and outstanding players as stated by La Liga.
Unfortunately, he suffered an injury while in the training program and had to return to his homeland four months later.
