Japan announce 24-man squad for Kirin Challange Cup

Head coach Vahid Halilhodzic has announced Japan squad of 24 players for their upcoming Kirin Challenge Cup matches against New Zealand and Haiti.

11 J.League players,  including Kashiwa Reysol goalkeeper Kosuke Nakamura and Urawa Reds midfielder Wataru Endo, have been selected for the pair of international friendlies.

The Kirin Challenge Cup is the series of friendlies played throughout the year in Japan.

Japan will play New Zealand on October 6 at Toyota Stadium before welcoming Haiti to International Stadium Yokohama on October 10.
