Myanmar head coach Rabah Benlarbi wants his side to be pitted against Indonesia in the 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship final.
The Young White Angels have booked their place in the semi-final of tournament as runners-up after defeating Vietnam 2-1 in the final game of Group B.
Win Naing Tun and colleagues were placed below Indonesia, who defeated them in 2-1 in the first game. And the French tactician believes his side have the potential to gain revenge and win the competition.
“To face Indonesia again? I have already expressed my intention to meet them again after they defeated us. To beat them in final will give us more satisfaction,” said Benlarbi was quoted by Goal.
“But I don’t want to think much further. Our focus is now on Malaysia as we will play against them in the semi-final.”
Myanmar will face Malaysia in the semi-final at Thuwunna Stadium on Friday night.
