The young teams of Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) will play friendly matches with Shimizu S-Pulse youth team during the summer tour of the Japanese team from 18 to 20 August.
The Japanese’s 30-member team will play against HAGL’s U-13, U-15 and U-17 teams of during the three-day tour.
The detail of the tour has been announced by HAGL head coach Nguyen Tan Anh. He confirmed that the said representatives of Shimizu S-Pulse and HAGL have agreed on co-operation in football training during the tour.
Following an agreement between both teams, a selection of U-17 team from HAGL will have a training session in Japan later this year.
Previously, it has been rumored that the J1 League side Shimizu S-Pulse has been looking to sign Vietnamese striker Nguyen Van Toan of HAGL.
