Ho Chi Minh City FC have unveiled their new signing of former Egyptian Premier League champion Dominique Da Sylva.
The details of the contract have not yet been announced, however Vietnam media reports that the estimated transfer values of the Mauritanian striker would be 900,000 USD, according to Transfermarkt.
Da Sylva started training at the Académie de Football Nouakchott before joining Tunisian club CS Sfaxien in 2007.
Four years later, he was transferred to Egyptian giants Al-Ahly, in which he helped the club to win the Egyptian Premier League for the seventh successive season.
In 2012, his goal from the late substitution also secured Al-Ahly’s 2-1 victory over ENPPI in the Egyptian Super Cup.
