Russsian striker Rod Dyachenko has reunited with his former team Than Quang Ninh FC after being axed by Ho Chi Minh City FC.
Than Quang Ninh head coach Phan Thanh Hung decides to call back Dyachenko with the hope to provide more attacking prowess after failing to buy any suitable foreign player in the upcoming second stage of the season.
Dyachenko had joined Than Quang Ninh in 2016 from Malaysia Premier League’s Putrajaya SPA FC on a 1-year contract. He scored 12 goals in 24 matches for Than Quang Ninh.
Departing from the North East club, Dyachenko was signed by newly-promoted Ho Chi Minh City FC in 2017.
Despite being favored by the club’s management board, Dyachenko could not prove himself during the first leg of this season’s V.League.
His contract was terminated by Ho Chi Minh FC in April.
