Vietnam U22 to face five South Korean teams in friendlies ahead of 2017 SEA Games

Vietnam U22 team are preparing for a busy schedule in July and August. The young Golden Stars will participate in the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification at home, where they will face South Korea, Timor-Leste, and Macau.

The team are expected to compete for a place in the final tournament, which will be held in China next year, as runners-up of the group, so the coaching staff have set a target of winning against Timor-Leste and Macau by a large margin to ensure their place in the final ranking of the second-placed team.

U-22 Vietnam will then travel to Hanoi to face a South-Korean All-Stars team in an exhibition match, which will take place between July 25 and August 1.

After that, the young Golden Stars will travel to South Korea, where they are scheduled to face three South Korean teams in preparation for the upcoming SEA Games, which will be held in Malaysia in August.
