Indonesia midfielder Stefano Lilipaly will miss the friendly game against Cambodia on 8 June as he is expecting the birth of his first child in the Netherlands.
Netherlands-based Fano has been called up by coach Luis Milla for the friendlies with Cambodia on 8 June and Puerto Rico five days later.
However, the 27-year-old won’t be able to join the Garuda squad at least in the game in Phnom Penh since he has to perform the duties of a husband and a father
“Unfortunately, I have to miss the Cambodia game. I think football and Indonesia are very important to me, but there is something more important to my life than football,” Fano said, as quoted by Goal Indonesia.
“My son is one of those things, I hope I can join the team in Puerto Rico,” Fano said with a smile.
