Chanathip Songkrasin once again receives praises from his opponents, this time they come from Kawasaki Frontale captain Yu Kobayashi.
The 29-year-old striker was brought on as a substitute and made an instant impact after scoring one and providing another as Kawasaki came from behind to claim a crucial away victory.
“I’m delighted to be part of the scoring sheet, helping the team win. Even though we got good results in the first game and three away goals, the second game at home won’t be a simple task,” Kobayashi said.
“[Muangthong] have many good players who possess good skills.”
Kobayashi specially singled out Chanathip as one of the best Muangthong players.
“Of course, Chanathip is a very good player. And I think he could play at the J-League level without problems.”
