Brisbane Roar footballer Dimitri Petratos will join South Korean outfit Ulsan Hyundai instead of Newcastle Jets, according to an official statement made by the Australian club.
Brisbane Roar has accepted an offer from Ulsan Hyundai for Petratos, and if the deal goes through, both the club and Newcastle Jets will split a transfer fee paid by the South Korean giants.
Petratos traveled with Brisbane Roar to China for their Champions League qualifier against Shanghai Shenhua. However, according to reports, he has left China to arrive in South Korea for his medical clearance.
The 24-year-old attacker has played more than 90 league matches for Brisbane Roar, scoring 15 goals.
