German-Thai attacking midfielder Alexander Sieghart is reportedly close to signing a deal to play for Thai League outfit Bangkok United, according to reports.
Sieghart was born in Bangkok, Thailand but was raised and trained in Germany. He joined the famed Bayern Munich academy in 2009 and graduated in 2015.
Before moving to Thailand to join Buriram United, he played one season for German club SpVgg Unterhaching.
He hasn’t played international football at any level but is eligible to play for Thailand through his mother.
Bangkok United has also reached an agreement to sign left-back Sataporn Dangsee from Buriram United. Both players will be presented at an upcoming press conference at the capital club.
