The Golden Stars will play a friendly match against Chinese Taipei on March 24 in preparation for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, official sources confirmed.
Vietnam is in Group C of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup third round qualification, along with Jordan, Afghanistan, and Cambodia. The first matches of this group will kick on March 28.
Vietnam and Chinese Taipei had met in the second round of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification.
The Golden Stars won both matches against Chinese Taipei, including a 4-1 victory in Hanoi.
