Manchester United footballer Ashley Young has ruled out a January transfer to the Chinese Super League, according to reports.
The English midfielder, who has made just five starts for Manchester United this season, has generated interest from clubs in the Premier League, but he was also linked with a big-money move to the Chinese Super League.
However, Young reportedly has no intention of uprooting his family to China, according to British newspapers.
Recently, Brazilian international midfielder Oscar and former Manchester City and Juventus striker Carlos Tevez have joined Shanghai SIPG and Shanghai Shenhua, respectively.
According to reports, Shanghai Shenhua has paid €84 million for Tevez, while their local rivals Shanghai SIPG paid €60 million for Oscar.
