Gareth Bale planting his butt obdurately at Real after Zinedine Zidane Man City snub

It looks like controversial Welshman, Gareth Bale, won’t be returning to the Premier League after all until 2022 at the very earliest, after making known his decision to stay at Real Madrid until his contract expires in Spain. That’s according to a report in The Mirror, claiming Bale has decided he wants to see out the remainder of his contract despite the prospects of not playing as he reportedly has no future under Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu after he burned all bridges at the club after having told Zidane he didn’t want to play in the Champions League clash against Manchester City.

Left behind in Madrid, the recalcitrant Welshman was then spotted playing golf just hours before kick-off, leaving Real Madrid fans enraged.

Bale had been expected to leave Madrid in the summer transfer window, with a return to the Premier League supposedly on the cards but it now appears he harbors no intention of returning and playing in the Premier League, and has opted instead to stay in Spain with The Mirror claiming that Bale is quite comfortable in the Spanish capital and won’t be planning to leave this summer.

Bale’s contract runs until 2022, and his reported astronomical wages of £600,000-per-week pre-tax putting off many teams in England, or even the rest of Europe, from making any realistic offers for him.

Especially not when he seems to be having attitude problems despite his playing abilities not being in doubt
