
“The sound in the stadium during those last two goals was incredible. That’s something we can hold onto for the future—it’s a special feeling,” Amorim said when asked if it was his best moment as a manager.
He admitted that the win, and the Europa League run as a whole, offers a welcome respite from a difficult domestic season.
“Moments like these can really help the players, especially in a season like this. It brings the fans and players together and, for a little while, lets us forget about the challenges we’ve faced this year,” Amorim explained.
