Myanmar ace Kyaw Ko Ko on verge of joining Chiangrai United

Myanmar national team star Kyaw Ko Ko is on the verge of leaving Yangon United to join Thai League (T1) outfit Chiangrai United.

Yangon United on Monday that they have agreed a pre-agreement for the 25-year-old’s loan deal with Chiangrai United.

“It is a good prospect that foreign clubs are interested in Myanmar players and it is kind of an advantage of our players and clubs,” said Yangon president U Pye Phyo Tay Za, on the club’s official Facebook page.

“I have already encouraged him to do his best at his new club while promoting the image of Yangon United and Myanmar, and I wish that he performs well at his new club.”

Kyaw Ko Ko, who has 13 goals in 46 international appearances with Myanmar, will follow Aung Thu’s path to Thailand league after his colleague was signed by Police Tero FC.
