The negotiation between Chainat Hornbill FC and Egy Maulana Vikri has reportedly collapsed after his entourage denied the club’s offer.
As reported by Goal Thailand, Chainat vice president Aniruth Nakasai confirmed that the club had withdrawn from the race of signing Egy.
“Chainat were really interested in him and talked to his family. But they wanted Egy to play football in Europe rather than ASEAN. So the negotiation is over now,” Aniruth said.
“His family also thank Chainat for our interest in Egy.”
Chainat Hornbill FC won 2017 Thai League 2 Championship title and a place in Thai League 1 next season.
