Iranian international footballer Ashkan Dejagah has rejoined Wolfsburg on a free transfer, according to a statement from the club.
The former Fulham and Hertha Berlin player has reportedly signed a contract to play for Wolfsburg until the end of the season, with an option to extend the deal for another year.
The Iranian midfielder had spent five years playing for Wolfsburg, winning one Bundesliga title with them, before joining Fulham in 2012.
He left the English club in 2014, making a move to Qatari club Al-Arabi SC.
The 30-year-old footballer also represented Iran at international level, making debut for Team Melli in 2012.
