Japanese side Gamba Osaka is currently in contract negotiation with Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero, according to reports.
Gamba Osaka is reportedly ready to part way with $8 million to sign the former Bayern Munich footballer from Brazilian club Flamengo.
However, it is unclear whether the two clubs has reached an agreement on the transfer or not.
Paolo Guerrero joined Flamengo from Corinthians in 2015. The Peruvian striker has scored 12 league goals in 36 appearances for the club, but he hasn’t won any major title with La Mengao yet.
The Japanese club have registered three foreign players, Brazilian defender Fabio and midfielder Ademilson, as well as South-Korean defender Oh Jae-suk. As such, they will be able to sign another foreign player in the January transfer window.
