Thai League T1 club Muangthong United have failed to strike a deal with Suphanburi midfielder Charyl Chappuis.
The 25-year-old Swiss-born footballer will not be renewing his contract with Suphanburi, but at the moment he has yet to successfully negotiate a deal with another club.
A production of the famed Grasshoppers youth academy, Chappuis joined Buriram United in 2013. He had a short spell on loan with Suphanburi before joining the club on a permanent basis in 2015.
Aside from Muangthong United, Chiang Rai is also reportedly interested in the 25-year-old midfielder’s service.
The club’s president Mitti Tiyapairat said that they will “weighing up all options” before making a decision, according to Bangkok Post.
