Thailand Under-23 Coach Worrawoot Srimaka has called J3 League striker Sittichok Phaso up for their upcoming AFC U-23 Championship qualification campaign.
According to the announcement from Kagoshima United, Sittichok will participate in the week-long camp beginning on June 3.
The J.League’s first Thai player expressed his gratitude for being called up to The Young Elephants. “I’ve been training every day at Kagoshima United and earning appearances, so I want to thank my team-mates,” as quoted by JLeague.jp.
Thailand U23 will play a friendly match against Iraq on June 10 before kicking off their 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification campaign in July. The Young Elephants were drawn into the same group with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Mongolia.
