Chonburi’s Montenegrin striker Dragan Boskovic is reportedly unhappy with the league-wide 50% pay cut due to COVID-19 and could depart from the club during the extended break.
According to this report by SiamSport, Boskovic is yet to sign a contract extension with the club and it is unlikely that he will do so. As such, the board has reportedly advised coach Sasom Pobprasert to begin looking for a replacement to fill their foreign quota ahead of the September restart.
According to this, Boskovic is the only member of the squad who has refused to accept the 50% pay cut, as agreed by the Thai FA, and could be on his way out of the club. https://t.co/A2W1Hnrkdb

Boskovic arrived at Chonburi from Port FC before the start of the current campaign, having been sidelined during the second half of 2019 in a foreign quota reshuffle at his former club.
The 34-year-old striker remains one of the most renowned players in the league and was a formidable attacker at his peak. He is currently the league’s fourth-highest all-time top scorer and holds the record for most goals scored in a single season when he netted 38 times from 33 appearances for Bangkok United in 2017.
