According to the Italian media outlet stadiosport.it, Fiorentina are interested in bringing Eintracht Frankfurt and Japanese national team attacker Daichi Kamada to the Serie A.
Last season, Kamada played on loan at Sint-Truiden in the Belgian Pro League, featuring in 36 matches, while scoring 16 goals and making 9 assists in the process.
Fiorentina are not the only team in the hunt for Kamada’s signature. Another Serie A team, Genoa, is following him in the hope of signing a contract this summer. However, it seems Fiorentina is ready to make a higher offer, making them his more likely destination.
In the meantime, his countryman and ex-teammate at Sint-Truiden, defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, is ready to make his appearance in Serie A after joining Bologna earlier this month.
Here is Tomiyasu’s first interview as a Bologna player.
As two of Japan’s brightest upcoming talents, it would be really exciting for fans to see them go head to head in one of Europe’s biggest leagues.
