Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is reportedly closing in on his crossover to Juventus after agreeing personal terms with the Italian champions after having been informed by new Barca head coach Ronald Koeman in a phone call that he is ‘surplus to requirements’ at Camp Nou.
Juve were quick to pounce for Suarez and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, an agreement has already been reached between the two parties with the Serie A giants willing to match the 33-year-old’s current salary, it is claimed, and confirmation of the free transfer is believed to be imminent.
Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain had also been touted as possible destinations for Suarez.
