Despite dropping to the Europa League from the Champions League, The Nerazzurri still gave paid respect to the competition – defeating the likes of Ludogorets Razgrad, Getafe and Bayer Leverkusen, conceding only twice, on their way to the semis. President Zhang and Inter boss Antonio Conte will be setting their sights on the final but the manager also praised Shakhtar as the “strongest opponents” his team will face thus far.
Georgian defender Davit Khocholava was suspended for the previous round but is available for selection against Inter who will be without the service of Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean suffered a muscle injury during training.
