V.League side Hoang Anh Gia Lai have denied that they are interested in bringing Muangthong United goalkeeper Dang Van Lam to the club.
The Vietnamese international has been Muangthong’s first-choice goalkeeper between the sticks since joining at the start of the 2019 season, but lost his place of to local goalkeeper Somporn Yos in the final games before the COVID-19 break.
With many of Muangthong’s other senior having left the club, some have suspected that Van Lam might be fazed and out and could head for the exit door as well. This has started rumors linking the goalkeeper with a return to his homeland.
However, Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL)’s Football Director has denied the rumors that his club are interested in bringing Van Lam back to the V.League.
With the currently volatile situation at Muangthong, Van Lam’s future remains unclear.
