Official: Tractor parted company with Mustafa Denizli

Tabriz club Tractor announced parted company with Turkish manager Mustafa Denizli with mutual consent following recent disappointing results.

Tractor were dropped to 8th after goalless draw against relegation candidate Shahin Boushehr and this convinced Tractor owner Mohammadreza Zonozi to end Dnizli’s third tenure in Iran league.

Denizli who had already worked in Iran football as Pas and Persepolis manager, took charge of Tractor in the summer and his team had started the season like a title contender but all changed for him after three defeats in a row.

In the end, home draw against Shahin Bousher ended Denizli’s stint in Tabriz. He was Tractor’s eighth manager in 4 years. Last season John Toshack and Goerges Leekens were appointed as Tractor managers but both left the job after a short and turbulent period.
