Kedah was so lucky to get a last-minute equalizer through Zaquan Adha. Even with a solid squad, Kedah failed to show convincing performances.

On the other hand, Pahang was quite dominant in the center as Nor Azam Azih played a huge role. He also scored a goal with a beautiful long-range goal in the second half.

To be honest, Pahang looked like the better side. With this result, they have a big opportunity to go through to the final. They only need a draw thanks to their advantage of three away goals.

However, the spirit shown by all Kedah’s players needs to be praised. They fought right until the end, and made it an incredibly tough match.

Elsewhere, on Saturday, defending Malaysia Super League Champions JDT managed a 2-1 win over Selangor, giving them an advantage ahead of the second leg next Saturday.
