Hwang Ui-jo’s accuracy paid off. In the “Derby de la Garonne,” Hwang’s team Bordeaux travelled to face Toulouse.

In less than a minute, the away team took the lead as Nicolas de Preville opened the scoring. In the 17th minute, Hwang earned a free-kick while dribbling through the defense. Pablo did not miss the opportunity and found the net.

On 52 minutes, Hwang hit, curling the ball outwards around the keeper and into the corner of the net.

In this match, Hwang attempted three shots in total, with two on target.

Ex-Gamba Osaka key player Hwang scored 31 goals in 71 matches. He put in a great performance until he arrived in France, being selected as J League’s Best Eleven. He seems to be adjusted rather quickly, having scored two goals so far.

With this, Bordeaux recorded their fourth match in the league. WIth 15 points earned, the team is now on the fourth of the table, rising three steps.
