Hanoi FC Face Tough Trip to North Korea

Hanoi FC will face a tough trip to North Korea to face the host April 25 in the second leg of the AFC Cup Inter-Zone Final. 

The two-time defending champions of the V.League will need over 13 hours of travel to reach Pyongyang on Friday afternoon. The team will need to transit in Beijing before taking their flight to the North Korean capital.  

The team prepares for the second leg with the disadvantage after the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw at the Hang Day stadium on Wednesday. 

During the match, Hanoi created many chances but scored only two goals, courtesy of Nguyen Van Quyet and Papa Kebe. Meanwhile the North Korean have only three dangerous chances but they scored twice to pull the game level and give themselves the away-goal advantage. 

The second leg will take place on the 2nd October at the Kim Il Sung Stadium (Pyongyang) and will not be televisied.
