According to news updates, Thailand could face Congo in an international friendly on the 10th of October, in preparation for their upcoming World Cup Qualifying game against the United Arab Emirates.
This game has been scheduled for the 10th of October, five days before the War Elephants host the UAE at the Thammasat Stadium in Pathum Thani for their third game in the qualifying campaign.

This comes after it was previously reported that Thailand could face Brazil at the National Stadium in Singapore during the upcoming international break by the Straits Times. However, it appears that the slot has now been taken by Nigeria and Senegal.
A game against Congo could provide an opportunity for Thailand to test themselves against strong opposition, and provide another chance for coach Akira Nishino to work on his system ahead of a crucial qualifying game.
A victory over the team ranked 90th in the world would also be beneficial for Thailand’s own ranking, which is currently at 114.
