Persepolis loaned Brazilian striker Brandao

Tehran giant Persepolis have finally loaned Brazilian striker Junior Brandao from Bulgarian Club Ludogorets.

The 24-year-old striker had arrived to Tehran on Monday and signed his one year loan contract after passing medical examination.

Brandao joined Ludogorets in 2018 but returned to Brazil to play on loan for Goias in 2019. However, he didn’t manage to end his goal drought in Brazil Serie B.

Brandao will fill the void of Croatian towering center forward Marko Bodimir who left the club in close season.

Persepolis have won Iran Pro League for three seasons in a row but last season, they have just scored 36 goals in 30 matches, 10 less than runner-up Sepahan.
