Last week was closed off by two the story of two endings – the breakdown of PS TIRA-Persikabo’s superiority and first full points for Kabau Sirah. And yes, there’s always first for everything… a win, loss, and many stories that happened over the last week.

Arema’s Sweet Presents for Aremania and Indonesia

There’s nothing more beautiful than grabbing a win in front of your lovely supporters, and it was a special moment in the East Java Super Derby against Persebaya Surabaya as Arema celebrated their 32nd club anniversary. Four goals found their way into Bajo Ijo’s net also strengthen the magic of Kanjuruhan Stadium as from their last five home games Singo Edan always win and scored a minimum of score three goals.

Stefano Lilipaly’s Brace Knocked Out Laskar Padjajaran

After going defeatless in 13 matches, PS TIRA-Persikabo fell short in front of their supporters against Bali United last Thursday. Indonesian-Dutch playmaker, Stefano Lilipaly scored the opener in first ten minutes before the game drew level courtesy of Abduh Lestaluhu in the 74th minute. Lilipaly later closed off the win with a beautiful shot inside the penalty box ten minutes before the game ended. With this win, Bali United recorded a perfect win streak in five consecutive games and climbed to the top of the table.

Semen Padang’s First Win Hails By Rival’s Ex-Coach

Irsyad Maulana’s goal in the very last minutes against PSIS Semarang on last Friday gave Kabau Sirah their first win of this season and it happened in front of their fanatic supporters at the Haji Agus Salim stadium. Even still sitting at the bottom of the league with seven points, Dedi Hartono and his colleagues’ performances hailed by Jafri Sastra, their ex-coach who also already fired by PSIS last week. This is the first game that Laskar Mahesa Jenar had without Jafri shouting on the bench.

Bad Start for Yeyen Tumena With Bhayangkara FC

expectation, Bhayangkara FC lost 0-1 against visitors Perseru Badak Lampung FC through a goal scored by Hariyanto in Bekasi. This is a bad surprise for caretaker Yeyen Tumena on his debut, replacing Alfredo Vera who failed on his mission to take The Guardian to the top five. In other hand, for Laskar Saburai this is the first win under their new coach, ex Arema coach last season, Milan Petrovic.

Mid-Season Transfer Opened

Based on the FIFA TMS (Transfer Market System), the mid-season window transfer for 2019 Liga 1 will open on August 19th, but all players who come and out of Indonesian football competition have to be registered to league operators PT before August 27th. So far, Persebaya Surabaya, Madura United and Persib Bandung already announce their new players for the second half of the league. These don't only include new faces - some ex-Liga 1 players have also returned, like Diego Assis, who signs for Madura United having previously played for Persela Lamongan

Results of Week 14

Here are all of the results from Week 14, which have already finished on Friday evening. Bali United leading is leading with a total of 31 points with one game ahead, and they had a big chance to keep these good results even if PS TIRA-Persikabo are just one point behind them. In the relegation zone, there’s no change, as despite Badak Lampung FC's win, they have still collected the same points with Barito Putera and Persela Lamongan. Laskar Saburai only loses on goal difference.
