Hanoi FC looks to bounce back from two successive draws when they face Sai Gon FC in away match.

These two draws has been sent Hanoi from the top of the table to the second position, three points behind Ho Chi Minh City. They now only have two more points than third place Than Quang Ninh, and another negative result could turn the situation into a disaster for the defending champions.

But, getting a win at the Thong Nhat stadium of Saigon is not a simple task. The hosts are yet to lose a home game this season, and Hanoi have won just one game away from the Hang Day stadium, meaning that the odds are firmly stacked against them for this game.

If Hanoi can overcome Saigon, they will have great chance to bounce back and keep pressure with Ho Chi Minh City when the league leader face the tough trip to Thanh Hoa stadium.

Similarly, Thanh Hoa have lost any of their home games in the V.League this season and they are looking for the 7th win of the season after suffering a 2-4 loss at Nam Dinh.

In the other matches, HAGL welcome Song Lam Nghe An in the match they must win to avoid slipping into the relegation zone, while bottom-placed team Khanh Hoa will travel to Hanoi against to face Viettel in a ‘six-pointer’ at the bottom top of the table.
