Pahang’s squad failed to take advantage of playing in their own home when they played out a 0-0 draw against Perak at the Darul Makmur Stadium.

Both Dollah Salleh and Mehmet Durakovics’ squads played with less aggressive game patterns than usual, especially in the first half. The best chance for the hosts came through Matthew Davies, but the captain of Tok Gajah fail to score an early goal.

Meanwhile, Selangor and PKNP FC shared points after a 1-1 draw in their Super League match at Manjung Municipal Council Stadium. The visitors’ team scored in the 29th minute when Ifedayo Olusegun calmly converted the cross from Sandro da Silva. The home side managed to equalize two minutes into the second half, with G Mugenthiran firing in to the left corner of the net.

Elsewhere, Kedah secured all three points after finishing their 14th game of the Super League with a 2-1 victory over Melaka United at the Darul Aman Stadium. Kedah’s two goals managed to bring Aidil Sharin Sahak’s squad back into third place, after they failed to defend it in a match against Selangor last Wednesday.

Melaka United took the lead with a free kick in the 31st minute, taken by Safiq Rahim and converted with a header from striker Luka Mikunovic. In the second half, Kedah equalized in the 60th minute when Baddrol Bakhtiar’s header beat Melaka goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat. The hosts kept their momentum going and eventually managed to grab the second goal, with Farhan Roslan’s move in the 71st minute, as his attempt was put by Jang Sukwon into his own net.
