Pahang squad will have two important missions when they face Johor Darul Ta’zim at the Darul Makmur Stadium on Sunday.

In addition to maintaining an unbeaten run in the Super League, Pahang also has a mission to take on and potentially overtake the defending champions in front of their loyal supporters.

Team manager, Datuk Mohammed Suffian Awang, said the advantage of being in the home should be fully utilized by players to deny JDT’s attempt to collect points and extend their lead atop the Super League table.

Both sides have benefitted from excellent starts to the season, with JDT a mere 2 points ahead of their weekend opponents after collecting 26 points from their opening 10 games.

Meanwhile, Felda United players have been asked not to lose focus even without the presence of their captain, Hadin Azman, who has not recovered from a knee injury. They face Melaka United at Tun Abdul Razak Stadium, Jengka, tomorrow night.

Felda United manager Mohd Nidzam Jamil said the match was also very important for the side in their hopes to avoid staying at the bottom of the Super League.

Kedah goalkeeper, Ifwat Akmal Che Kassim is facing a tough task when they meet Selangor this weekend, who are represented former Kedah players, in the Super League match at the Darul Aman Stadium tomorrow night. Former Kedah players currently with Selangor, including Syazwan Zainon, Sandro Da Silva, Halim Saari, and Kyril Muhymeen Zambri will be a big threat to Ifwat in view of their experience.
