In the round 5, Hanoi FC will travel to face Sanna Khanh Hoa at the Nha Trang Stadium. It is expected to be an easy game for the defending champions, as the home side are struggling this season with only 1 win after 4 matches.

A win may help Hanoi extend their lead in the top of the table as Ho Chi Minh City face the tough test when they face a daunting away trip to face Becamex Binh Duong.

Elsewhere, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will return to the Pleiku stadium to face Than Quang Ninh. The home side are struggling with three losses in a row, but the support from the stands may help them end their poor run.

Lastly, at the Hang Day stadium, Viettel will face Nam Dinh in a crucial six-point match at the bottom end of the table. Both team now have 3 points after 4 matches and are seeking to have their second win of the season.
