Manchester City eyes Daniel Arzani transfer

Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly interested in the Australian wonderkid Daniel Arzani.

According to Manchester Evening News, City have been following Arzani’s progress very closely over the past twelve months, and could make a move for him this summer.

The 19-year-old, who was Australia’s young player of the year last season, made 18 appearances for Melbourne City last season, scoring two goals.

This form earned him a call-up to his country’s national team for the 2018 World Cup. However, his side were eliminated from the competition in the group stages, while Arzani made three substitute appearances in Russia.

“I do not know what happens,” said Arzani after his country’s elimination from the World Cup, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.

“Now I will go straight to London and meet my agent and spend a few days there trying to clear everything up. “(There is) nothing concrete yet.”
