Former Wales national coach Chris Coleman has been appointed the new coach of Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune.
Coleman has been named as the replacement of Manuel Pellegrini on the club’s official Sina Weibo on Sunday, as reported by The Sun.
Pellegrini left Hebei for West Ham United, while Coleman was released from Sunderland at the end of the season following their relegation from the Championship.
The 48-year-old has also managed Fulham and Real Sociedad, as well as Coventry City and AEL in Cyprus but it is Wales where he built his reputation.
Coleman’s most significant achievement was coaching Wales to their first European Championship in 2016 and guiding them to the semi-finals.
