PSIS Semarang to search for new players after disappointing results

It is a tough season for one of the promoted sides this season in Go-Jek Liga 1 Indonesia, PSIS Semarang. Based on their statistic, currently, PSIS is the team which has the most losses this season with seven losses. Behind them is PSMS Medan, but they have one more loss. Moreover, now they sit down in the bottom of the league.

To fix this problem, PSIS Chief Executive Officer, Yoyok Sukawi, said that their team will be searching for the new player to reform their performance.

“There will be an evaluation for all players from management, head coach, and his staff. We will do so to determine which sector that we need to improve for the second half of the season,” said Yoyok, cited from Liga 1 website.

PSIS head coach, Vincenzo Annese, said there will be no massive change in his squad. According to the Italian, the players have shown much progress in adapting to his tactic.

“There will be no massive change since the problems only occur in some areas,” said Annese.

Yoyok said that he will give Annese a freedom to choose his new players. They still set their target to get away from degradation zone.
