Brazilian striker Bobo has extended his contract with Sydney FC for one more year, the club announced on Monday.
The reigning Golden Boot winner scored 27 goals from 27 games for the Sky Blues last season, firmly establishing himself as one of the club’s all-time leading strikers.
In his third stint with Sydney FC, he will prove to be the crucial element for the squad of Steve Corica, who has taken the coaching position from Graham Arnold.
“Sydney FC is a great club, we have had two fantastic seasons, so to have earned another contract is an excellent outcome for me and my family,” Bobo said on the club’s official website.
“Next season will be another huge challenge and I believe an exciting journey for the club.”
